It’s always good to know the people you’re working with, so here’s a little bit about each of us!
Led and run by Phil Clark, Chippendale and Clark proudly follows his personality and ethics. Phil has his fair share of experience on both sides of business – having worked as an accountant for over 10 years, he started his own company in 2012. Since then he has not only doubled his turnover, but he’s encountered most of the problems small growing businesses face in their initial years…and overcome them.
Leaving traditional accounting behind in search of something more fulfilling, Phil started his practice based on his motivation for improvement, growth, and seeing an end product from something you’ve created. For the last 5 years, Chippendale and Clark have been using their emphatic way of working to provide great value accountancy and tax advice to hundreds of businesses around Wiltshire.
A trained chartered management accountant, what this really means is that Phil knows how to run a business, plan for the future, create accounts and tax plan. Given enough time and resources Phil can teach you firstly how to identify what’s wrong with your business, and secondly how you can implement change in a modern and efficient way using technology. More importantly Phil can give you all the tools needed to enable you to run your business.
Frank’s someone who’s forgotten more than most of us will ever know. He has over 50 years of accountancy experience, which makes him a very valuable member of the team. He’s also a beekeeper and presently the Hon Sec of the Wiltshire Beekeeping Association
Amy is a Fellow of the International Association of Bookkeepers, and has been qualified as such for over 10 years; she’s one of our assistant accountants. When not working for us she’s a member of her local village hall committee and enjoys travelling and camping
Also one of our assistant accountants, Natasha manages to fit being a volunteer Special Sergeant for the Wiltshire Police in with her on-going Level 4 Association of Accounting Technician’s studies. Aiming to progress to Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification later in the year, Natasha also manages to find the time to be a fitness enthusiast.
Another of our assistant accountants, Lucy has recently achieved Level 4 of the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification exams. Like Amy she’s on the committee of her village hall, mixing business with pleasure by being the Treasurer. She’s a keen musician and plays the flute.
Ros is our Practice Administrator and spends her time keeping the rest of us in order. She’s had over 15 years’ experience in accounting, so knows exactly what’s called for. She’s a member of Chippenham Ladies Hockey Club, a club with history going back to 1888.
Payroll is an important element of our business, and Fiona is our Payroll Administrator. She has eight years’ experience in this area and is a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Fiona has a degree in Fine Art and enjoys playing squash.
Laura works with Fiona looking after payrolls. She’s also a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and has six years of practical experience behind her. She admits to enjoying shopping and socialising!
